In the U.S., Google has partnered with a little-known e-reader, the iriver. It does not have an e-reader partner in Australia, Canada or the UK.
Google opened its eBookstore in the U.S. in December 2010, and its international English-language launches have come rapidly in the past month. Foreign-language stores are expected to launch sometime in 2012.
